If a DVD - RW disc / r has not been saved successfully to the DVD video format, it will be not playable. The unit cannot read the CD - RW / CD - R and DVD - RW / r and the contents of memory USB flash such as DivX, Avi, mpg, mov. The Blu-ray Disc Player and the discs are coded by region. These regional codes must match in order to play the disc. If the codes do not match, the disc will not be read. The region number of this Blu-ray disc player is described on the rear panel of the Blu-ray disc player.

Blu-ray Disc is a new and evolving format. As a result, the problems of compatibility of the discs are possible. All disks are not compatible and all disks are not read. Once a DVD-RW/-r recorded in Video Mode is finalized, it becomes DVD-Video. Prerecorded (stamped) commercial DVDs with movies are also called DVD-videos. This unit can play prerecorded commercial DVD discs (DVD-Video discs) with movies.

An audio disc on which 44.1 kHz PCM Audio is recorded. This unit can play CD-DA format CD-RW audio and CD-R discs. The unit may not be able to play CD-RW or CD-R discs due to the condition of recording. Use a 700-MB CD-RW / CD-R disc (80 minutes). If possible, do not use an 800MB (90 minutes) or above the disk, the disk can not read. If the CD-RW / CD-R disc did not appear as an in-camera session, you may experience delays when playing at the beginning of the disc or all the recorded files can not play. Some CD-RW / CD-R discs can not be played back with this unit, depending on which device was burned. For contents recorded on CD-RW / CD-R CD for your personal use, playability may vary depending on the contents and discs. Once a DVD-R recorded in Video Mode is finalized, it becomes DVD-Video. This unit can play DVD-R discs recorded and finalized with a DVD video recorder. It may not be able to play certain DVD-R discs, depending on the disc and the recording condition.

Using an HDMI cable, connect the HDMI OUT jack on the back of the Blu-ray Disc player to the HDMI IN terminal on your TV. Press the input selector on your TV's remote control until the HDMI signal of the Blu-ray Disc Player appears on your TV screen. If you have set the remote to control your TV (see pages 19 ~ 20), press the SOURCE button on the TV on the remote control and select HDMI as the TV's external source. If the Blu-ray Disc Player is connected to your TV in HDMI 1080p output mode, you must use a high-speed HDMI cable (category2). If the HDMI cable is connected or removed during playback of a CD-DA, the player stops. The output of the video player will automatically change to the HDMI output resolution when you connect an HDMI cable while the camera is turned on (see page 42).

Depending on your TV, some HDMI output resolutions do not work. Please consult the manual of your TV. If an HDMI cable is connected to the player to a TV, the output of the Blu-ray Disc player is on HDMI output resolution automatically within 10 seconds. If the component and HDMI are both connected, HDMI mode is automatically selected. (See page 42) When you connect the player to the TV using the HDMI cable for the first time or to a new TV, the HDMI output resolution will be automatically set to the highest provided by the TV. If you connect a Samsung TV to the Blu-ray disc player with an HDMI cable, the player can be easily operated using the TV's remote control. (This is only available with Samsung TVs that support the Anynet + function). (See pages 44 ~ 45).

Using an HDMI-DVI cable (not supplied), connect the HDMI OUT terminal on the back of the Blu-ray Disc player to DVI in the terminal of your TV. Use the audio cables, connect the aUDiO (red and white) to the terminals on the back of the Blu-ray disc player the audio (red and white) to the terminals of your TV. Turn on the Blu-ray Disc player and TV. Press the input selector on your TV's remote control until the DVI signal of the Blu-ray Disc Player appears on your TV screen. If you have set the remote control to control your TV (see pages 19 ~ 20), press the TV SOURCE button on the remote control and select HDMI as the TV's external source.
